Cycles and Things is seeking a part-time bicycle mechanic to join our team. While some prior experience would be ideal, we are willing to provide professional training to the right candidate. The starting pay is $15-$18 an hour depending on experience.

The job tasks are as follows:
- - Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of traditional bicycles, electric bicycles, scooters, and related equipment.
- - Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including work on motors, battery systems, controllers, and wiring, using specialized diagnostic tools and software.
- - Assemble and prepare new e-bikes for sale and service, ensuring all manufacturer and safety standards are met.
- - Maintain accurate and detailed service logs and maintenance records for each repair in our system.
- - Manage spare parts inventory levels, communicating with manager regarding warranty claims and replacement parts as needed.
- - Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues and repair options clearly and professionally.
- - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
